I was living in Goa for organising the DrupalCamp Goa 2018 and during the same period, Goa carnival was going on which made me curious about the event. It surely is the most happening period of Goa and natives and tourists, all were in great vacation mood.
It surely was the exciting time for all. We went to attend the Goa Carnival - Food and cultural Festival 2018 and indeed it was a happening event. There were a dozen food stalls, games stall, live performances by bands, everyone seemed to be in the party mood.
Therefore, while Goa is a great destination to be in during the new year due to the amazing weather and awesome parties that are hosted across the state, February and March witnesses a lot of cultural festivals which is amazing to attend and understand the goan culture.
